Sunland is committed to the safety of our employees and the general public. Members of our staff have completed the following safety programs:

• OSHA 10 Hour Training
• OSHA 30 Hour Training
• First Aid & CPR Training
• Fall Protection Training
• Scaffold Training
• Confined Space Training
• Fork Lift, Aerial Lift, Scissor Lift Training
• General contractor and owner specific training programs

Our crews also attend training by vendors on materials specific to fire protection, as well as in house training on safety policies and procedures, including but not limited to accident/incident investigation and reporting, hazardous communications, tools and equipment, emergency response, personal protective equipment (to name a few). Sunland believes that training is essential in not only providing our customers with the best service, but also ensuring our men and women go home safely every day.

Our Safety Director is OSHA 500 Train the Trainer certified and has 13 years in the fire protection industry.

Sunland has a comprehensive safety campaign companywide. Our written safety and health program includes a continuous and thorough training matrix that extends to all employees, which includes safety incentives.

Sunland’s safety program requires all its employees to hold themselves and their fellow employees accountable to create a safe workplace for our entire team and those around us.
